Now that you know the integral part the Pierblock has played in human history, where will it take us in the future?
- As
part of the “Smarter, Cheaper, Faster” initiative at NASA, scientists
are working on the proper specifications and procedures for Astronauts
to cast their own Pierblocks from Martian soil when we try to establish
a permanent outpost on the Red Planet. - Scientists
at Lawrence Livermore Laboratories are making promising progress with
the Pierblock shape for starter pellets in their Fusion Power program. - Builders
in Finland have begun using composite Pierblocks, made of recycled
plastic and Reindeer dung, in the construction of governement buildings. - Poland
is working on it’s part of the International Space Station, the Waste
Disposal Module, which is a Pierblock-shaped compartment that will be
taken up in the Space Shuttle in 2006. - Apple
Computers is currently working on the next generation of its beloved
Cube computer. The Pierblock will incorporate the latest biomorphic
processors, multi-phasic random access memory, and satellite-based FTL
